We feel confident in our choice of using Seaside Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics for our kids' dental health, the care is patient, gentle and skilled and the staff are friendly, accomodating and reassuring. Our kids have had both dental and orthodontic care here and we highly recommend this practice.

My boys have been going to Dr. Scoma for 8 years now. I am a recovery room nurse at Rady Children's Hospital and care for Dr. Scoma's dental patients that need anesthesia. He has 2 offices, one in Scripps Ranch and one in La Jolla and also treats patients at the hospital. My boys actually enjoy going to see Dr. Scoma. They get to watch the tv during the exams and get a treat at the end of the visit. He is very patient with them. His staff are very friendly and will answer all questions with smiles! We just started seeing Dr. Lam for orthodontics in the same office as Dr. Scoma. She was very knowledgable and explained everything to us so we better understand the necessities for braces. She was very welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scoma (dentist) and Dr. Lam (orthodontics). As a mom, I know seeing your child actually get excited to see the dentist is very rare! You will not be dissatisfied!

The people at Seaside Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics are AMAZING! Our daughter has Autism and major anxieties, one of which is going to the dentist. Because of the every single person's kindness over the years, our daughter has been brave and willing enough to be more than half way through her two years of braces! She actually gets excited to go to the Dentist and Orthodontist!! We are so grateful for how these folks go about their business! We recommend Seaside Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics to everyone!
Great place for orthodontics and dentistry. This dentistry offers nice and helpful employees that are helpful every single day. What they do is high-quality and they promote good hygiene without being pushy. Overall I would say to take your kid to this orthodontics if one is getting braces and dentistry if one is just getting their yearly teeth checked.
