We feel confident in our choice of using Seaside Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics for our kids' dental health, the care is patient, gentle and skilled and the staff are friendly, accomodating and reassuring. Our kids have had both dental and orthodontic care here and we highly recommend this practice.

My boys have been going to Dr. Scoma for 8 years now. I am a recovery room nurse at Rady Children's Hospital and care for Dr. Scoma's dental patients that need anesthesia. He has 2 offices, one in Scripps Ranch and one in La Jolla and also treats patients at the hospital. My boys actually enjoy going to see Dr. Scoma. They get to watch the tv during the exams and get a treat at the end of the visit. He is very patient with them. His staff are very friendly and will answer all questions with smiles! We just started seeing Dr. Lam for orthodontics in the same office as Dr. Scoma. She was very knowledgable and explained everything to us so we better understand the necessities for braces. She was very welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scoma (dentist) and Dr. Lam (orthodontics). As a mom, I know seeing your child actually get excited to see the dentist is very rare! You will not be dissatisfied!

Great place they are very good with your teeth
I recently visited Seaside Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics and was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention I received. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was welcoming and accommodating me with the best customer service. The dental hygienist was thorough and gentle during my cleaning, and took the time to explain all of my treatment options. I also appreciated the use of the latest technology in the clinic, which made my visit more comfortable and efficient. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend Dr. Smith and his team to anyone in need of dental care.
