My boys have been going to Dr. Scoma for 8 years now. I am a recovery room nurse at Rady Children's Hospital and care for Dr. Scoma's dental patients that need anesthesia. He has 2 offices, one in Scripps Ranch and one in La Jolla and also treats patients at the hospital. My boys actually enjoy going to see Dr. Scoma. They get to watch the tv during the exams and get a treat at the end of the visit. He is very patient with them. His staff are very friendly and will answer all questions with smiles! We just started seeing Dr. Lam for orthodontics in the same office as Dr. Scoma. She was very knowledgable and explained everything to us so we better understand the necessities for braces. She was very welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scoma (dentist) and Dr. Lam (orthodontics). As a mom, I know seeing your child actually get excited to see the dentist is very rare! You will not be dissatisfied!
